Uniform Requirements
*Hair is to be worn in a neat bun for Ballet, secured with a hair net and pins. For Modern and Tap, hair may be worn in a pony tail or plait.
*MTSD hoodies are permitted at the start of each class whilst warming up. If you would like information on how to purchase a hoodie, please email marsh.selina@yahoo.co.uk.
*There is no uniform for Street Dance, but please attend in trainers and clothes that you can move freely in.
BEGINNERS DANCE (children aged 3-4)
*Girls - catsuit in a choice of BLACK, PURPLE or TURQUOISE BLUE
*Girls - crossover dance cardigan (optional for warmth) in BLACK
*Boys - short unitard in a choice of BLACK, PURPLE or TURQUOISE BLUE
*Boys - long sleeved t-shirt (optional for warmth) in BLACK
COMBINED BALLET, TAP & MODERN (children aged 5-6)
*Girls - catsuit in a choice of BLACK, PURPLE or TURQUOISE BLUE
*Girls - crossover dance cardigan (optional for warmth) in BLACK
*Girls - ballet shoes in BEIGE
*Girls - tap shoes in BLACK
*Boys - short unitard in a choice of BLACK, PURPLE or TURQUOISE BLUE
*Boys - long sleeved t-shirt (optional for warmth) in BLACK
*Boys - ballet shoes in WHITE
*Boys - tap shoes in BLACK
Plain black or plain white socks are preferred.
BALLET UNIFORM FOR STANDARD 2 AND ABOVE
*Girls - tank style leotard in BLACK
*Girls - ballet tights in NUDE and/or transition tights for older students in BALLET PINK
*Girls - ballet shoes (budget option) in BEIGE, or ballet shoes (high end brand) in PINK
*Girls - crossover dance cardigan (optional for warmth) in BLACK
*Boys - fitted stretch black t-shirt (younger boys) / fitted stretch t shirt (older boys) in BLACK
*Boys - footless tights/leggings in BLACK
*Boys - ballet shoes in WHITE
*Boys - ballet socks in WHITE (optional)
NB From Standard 5 level upwards, girls are permitted to wear any style of plain black leotard for classes.
